Transparent Metallic Static Shield Bags, ESD, are specifically designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. SSZ58 measures 5" x 8" (usable space) and is great for electronic parts. Bags are metallic in color but transparent enough to allow for part identification. Made with a 4-layer construction that includes 2 static layers, an aluminum shield, and a polyester layer. The metal “Faraday cage" layer shields products from electrical energy and prevents static buildup. Resealable zipper and 3.0 mil thickness.
