Transparent Metallic Static Shield Bags, ESD, are specifically designed to provide a static-safe environment for sensitive electronic devices. SSO55 measures 5" x 5" and the bags are 3.0 mil thick and metallic in color but transparent enough to allow for part identification. Made with a 4-layer construction that includes 2 static layers, an aluminum shield, and a polyester layer. The metal “Faraday cage" layer shields products from electrical energy and prevents static buildup. Open Ended for easy loading.
