Hand sealers are necessary when you have packaging that needs to be heat sealed closed. HS12CT is a 12" hand sealer that features a 5mm seal and a built-in sliding cutter. This sealer works with most poly bags, including PE and PP materials, along with stand up zipper pouches. Sealers work by applying a pulse of energy to the sealing area, followed immediately by cooling. HS12CT requires no warm up time and doesn't use power until the arm is pressed down. There is a variable temperature knob that can be set for different material thicknesses. This sealer allows you to heat seal and trim your bag all in one. To use, set the temperature (timer), insert the bag between the sealing bars, then press down, and release.
