Custom Mats and Backing

File Requirements:

• For initial quotes, PDF or .JPEG files are preferred. Illustrator or EPS files are required during design and for final ordering.


• All Files must be in vector form. Think of it as cutting out the pieces of art and then placing it on a clear bag. If you don’t have your file in vector form it is as if you place a white paper down with all the pieces printed on it, rather than the individual pieces.


• Text must be created into outlines. Our printers will not download missing fonts and your text will come out looking different then your chosen font.


• All images within the file must be embedded. If images are linked instead of embedded they will not be on the printed final product.


• 300 DPI (resolution). Any lower and we can not assure that the image will be printed as clear as shown on the screen.


• Artwork needs to be on a die line of the bag/box to assure proper logo placement.

Custom Cut Backing Board

• Lowest Cost 50 point double sided white super smooth paper coated chip board 100% recycled (75% PCW) and PH Neutral (BACKMISC)
• Bainbridge® UB1 - 100 point “Double thick” Utility Board – White blemish free surface paper PH Neutral (BACHMISC)
• Bainbridge® Alphamount Artcare™ – Pure AlphaCellulouse superior rigidity white board 24 point “thin” (BACDMISC), Acid Free/Archival.
• Bainbridge™ 100 Super Black 50 point deep black double sided scuff resistant smooth black finish ideal for art and photography presentation PH Neutral and 100% recycled Fiber.
• Bainbridge™ 100 Super Black 100 point same as above but double thick.
• Bainbridge® Self Adhesive convenient pressure sensitive permanent cold mounting solution for art and photo.  Adhesive is initially repositionable and becomes permanent within 24 hours. Acid Free adhesive. Will not crack or become brittle. 60 point.

Custom Pre-Cut Mats

• Styles: Bevel Cuts, Single of multiple mats, single or double thick, most matboard styles from various mat producers, double or triple mats pre-glued or unglued, straight cuts or computerized designs.
